Coronavirus (COVID-19) updates

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, our school and nursery premises are currently closed to the majority of pupils and will remain closed until we receive government notification to reopen.

Whilst our school and nursery premises are closed to the majority of children until further notice, we are offering on-site provision for the children of critical workers and vulnerable children.

We would like to express our thanks to those key worker parents who - despite being entitled to access our provision - have managed to arrange for their children to be cared for at home. This has kept the number of pupils and staff in school to a minimum.

To those key worker parents who have needed to access our provision we say thank you for the critical work you are doing for us all: it's been an honour to look after your children. In view of the low number of College pupils requiring this provision, since Monday 30th March these children have been based at our Prep School, where they have been supervised by College staff.

Detailed information about our remote learning arrangements for each of our schools has been provided in separate emails to College and Prep families. A separate letter has been sent to Bright Sparks families providing additional information that applies specifically to our nursery setting.

Whilst the majority of College and Prep pupils are not attending school physically, we are continuing to educate our pupils remotely and therefore school fees, excluding incidentals, remain due and will be invoiced accordingly.

Credit notes have been sent to parents relating to charges for coach travel, lunches and music tuition for the last two weeks of the Lent Term, when we were not able to provide these services.

Parents who pay via Direct Debit will see their payments reduced to reflect the credit that has been applied to their account. Parents who pay by any other method can deduct the amount shown on their credit notes from their next remittance.

Please note that, in view of the fact that our remote learning is likely to continue into next term, invoices for the Summer Term will be issued without charges for coach travel, lunches and music tuition.

All of our pupils and staff and their families are encouraged to follow the official Public Health England advice in relation to the Coronavirus, which can be accessed via the following website:

The Department for Education has launched a Coronavirus helpline to answer questions about COVID-19 related to education.

Staff, parents and young people can contact the helpline as follows:

Phone:   0800 046 8687

Opening hours: 8am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We will continue to provide regular updates.
