A Very Special Double Celebration!

Posted on 24 Oct 2019

There was a very special double celebration this week as we congratulated two valued members of our team on reaching important milestones.

Susan Seiffert celebrates 25 years' service this autumn and - although she doesn't like a fuss - the children and staff treated her to flowers and gifts to mark this very special occasion. Mrs Haigh thanked Susan for her wonderful contribution to the success of Bright Sparks & Early Years and reminded her of some of the key events that took place in the world back in 1994, when John Major was Prime Minister, the first ever National Lottery draw was held and 'Baby Come Back' by Pato Banton & UB40 was Number 1 in the charts!

We also celebrated Kate Lomax's 30th birthday at our party in the O'Halloran Hall at the College. Kate returned from maternity leave earlier this year and her lovely baby boy Joshua joined in the fun and celebrations.

The speeches and gift presentations were followed by a lovely party with dancing and cake!
