St. Mary's College 'Proms in the Park' has firmly established itself as one of the leading outdoor musical fireworks concerts in the North of England and this year's concert promises to be the biggest and best yet.
Proms in the Park 2016 takes place at the St. Mary’s College Games Field, Blundell Park, on Saturday 2nd July 2016 at 7:30pm (Gates open 6pm).
This will be a musical celebration showcasing the talents of the pupils of St. Mary’s College and The Mount. They will be joined by renowned international soprano and former St. Mary’s pupil Rachael Russell as well as the choirs from Great Crosby Catholic Primary School and English Martyrs Catholic Primary School.
Tickets are priced £17.50 for adults, £10.00 for children (under 5s free), £10.00 for students (valid NUS card needed) and £50.00 for a family ticket (2 adults & 2 children). Please note tickets will be charged at a slightlly higher rate on the night (£20.00 adults, £55.00 family, child / student tickets same as advance price, i.e. £10.00).
Tickets are available from all three school offices, plus:

• Cassidy’s Fruit & Vegetables (33 Chapel Lane, Formby)
• Tilly Mint (12 Cooks Road, Crosby)
A limited number of VIP marquee packages are also available and cost £375.00 each. The VIP marquee package is available for up to 10 people and includes marquee hire (tables and chairs included), concert tickets, complimentary bubbly, concert programmes, Union Jack hats & flags and free parking.
Chairs will be available for hire or you may bring your own chairs, rugs etc. Please note that gazebos or other high covers will not be permitted.
A variety of refreshments including hot and cold food, snacks, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase. You are welcome to bring a picnic, but please note that barbecues will not be permitted.
Only alcohol purchased from the licenced bar area on the event site will be permitted, so please do not bring your own alcoholic beverages. The bar area will be limited to persons over the age of 18 and a ‘Challenge 25’ policy will be in place, where any person fortunate enough to look under 25 will be asked to provide proof of age ID.
Tickets are non-refundable, except in the case of cancellation of the concert. The concert will not be cancelled due to bad weather, unless there are extreme weather conditions which are deemed to be a serious threat to safety. We are hoping for a glorious summer’s evening, but you may wish to bring your waterproofs just in case.
On-site parking will be available, subject to weather conditions, for £5.00 per standard car. Spaces are limited so travelling by public transport, car sharing and use of the Sainsbury’s car park nearby (free from 8pm) is also encouraged.
Please note dogs will not be permitted on the site, except for guide or support dogs.

Weather update - Saturday 2nd July:
The sun is shining and conditions at the games field are fine; there's a bit of a breeze but this is expected to die down later and we don't expect any further showers so Proms 2016 is good to go.
Cars will be allowed to park on the field at a cost of £5.00 per standard car and tickets can be purchased on the gate at a slightly higher price (see above).
