Posted on 24 Jan 2019

The latest school performance tables have just been published by the Department for Education and we are delighted and proud to announce that St. Mary's College has once again finished top of the GCSE results table for Sefton.

Our 'Attainment 8' score of 61.9 is better than all other schools in Sefton and the same applies to the percentage of pupils who achieved Grade 5 or above in both English and Maths GCSEs, which at 75% is significantly higher than all other Sefton schools.

Following our 'Excellent' ISI Inspection report in 2017, this is further evidence of the outstanding breadth and quality of our curriculum and the excellent academic achievements of our pupils.
