St. Mary’s College is delighted to welcome former Zimbabwe test cricketer Tatenda Taibu to the cricket coaching staff.
The talented wicketkeeper-batsman became the youngest Test captain in history when he captained
his team against Sri Lanka at just 20 years of age. He scored 1,546 runs in 28 Test matches and played in 150 one day internationals prior to his retirement from Test cricket in 2012.
As well as coaching our own pupils, Tatenda has also been taking cricket masterclasses with local primary schools and Formby Cricket Club.
