Boys Sports Update; 6th February

 

Under 12 & 15 in National Football Cup semi-finals, Under 16 rugby in the County Cup semi-finals and weekend practices plus all other news

 

Football news

A massive congratulations to both the under 15 & under 12 football teams who have made it through to the last 4 of the ESFA National Cup. The under 15s beat Wetherby School, Leeds 1-0 with a goal from Ben Jones.

The under 12s also beat Langley School, Norwich 4-1 with a Hayden Almark hat-trick and a Harry Deboe goal. Well done lads, we await the draw.

The under 13s lost 3-1 to Merchants despite a Louis Cooper worldy free-kick.

The 1st XI beat Merchants 3-2 with a Ben Skea hat-trick and the Irons lost 3-1 with a Charlie Newton goal.

Under 16s progress in Lancashire Cup

The Under 16 rugby progressed in the Lancashire cup with a 22-14 win against Stonyhurst. They play Manchester GS away on Tuesday 25th February.

Basque Rugby Tour Money

Weekend 7s practices

This weekend the following practices are on for Sevens rugby at the field.

Year 7-9; 8:30-9:45am

Year 10, 11 and sixth form; 9-10:30am
