Last weekend there were no fixtures due to Open Morning & Evening events.
However, midweek the Under 12s football won 8-0 vs St. Michael’s and the under 14s won 6-2, also against St. Michael’s. In the cup, the under 13s beat Range High School in a thriller 1-1 after extra time thanks to a Kristian Golding goal; we eventually won 3-1 on penalties thanks to Elliot Cooper, Andrew Kearney and Kieran Argent scoring from the spot as well as Faye Kirby saving two penalties magnificently.
This week, unfortunately Birkdale HS called off the under 13 rugby game, but the under 14 game went ahead and St Mary’s won 44-22 against a strong side full of Southport Rugby Club players.
Tonight, the under 12s play Birkdale at Birkdale HS at 3:30pm (return at 5:15pm).
Tonight the under 14 football play against Chesterfield HS at home; 4pm kick-off.
The under 15s rugby also play against Birkdale HS on Thursday away, again a 3:30pm kick-off and a 5:15pm return.
