The 2024 A Level performance tables have just been published by the Department for Education and we are proud to share that St. Mary’s College was the top performing school in Sefton last year for the average grade and average points students achieved per A Level entry: our students’ average A Level grade was B (Sefton average: C, England average: B -) and our students’ average A Level point score was 38.86 (Sefton average: 30.15, England average: 35.55).

We are delighted to be the top ranking school in Sefton in this key A Level performance measure, which – with St. Mary’s also finishing top of the GCSE results table for Sefton – is further evidence of our successful drive for academic excellence and the hard work, commitment and excellent achievements of our students.

Congratulations to our students and staff on this outstanding achievement!
