Edmund Rice Sponsored Walk 2024

14 Aug 2024

Before the summer break, pupils, teachers and support staff put their best foot forward for our Edmund Rice Sponsored Walk! Setting off from the school, they completed an amazing 12-mile “desert trek” along the Sefton Coastal Path, to Formby and back to the school’s Games Field, Blundell Park.

It was a delightful activity for our pupils to be part of. They enjoyed the local scenery, sang songs along the way and a quick game of frisbee at checkpoints.

At Checkpoint 5, History Teacher, Mrs Fallon even had the pleasure of chatting with the Everton Football Club Under 21 team and coaches, who were heading out for a run on the beach!

This wonderful event allowed our students to have fun and raise money for a number of fantastic charities. If you wish to donate and support all of our students and staff’s efforts, please visit our JustGiving page.
