We celebrated this years’ Halloween festivities with lots of crafts and sensory play activities with the children. Our Tots have been finding all things Halloween hidden amongst the spooky shredded paper. The children found scary skeletons, spiders, bats and more. It was all smiles during the spooky sensory play.
The babies painted pumpkins from our school garden, adding a splash of colour to them during a sensory play. Toddlers did lots of craft activities; Making, colouring and creating ghosts with their hands. Our Kindergarten children enjoyed spooky storytelling, from Mrs Haigh. Listening to ‘There’s a Ghost in This House’ and ‘Meg and Mog’. A favourite amongst the children.
All years were involved in dressing up during this period. We had witches, spiders, skeletons, cats and more. The children enjoyed getting into the character of their costumes and playing with each other.
