Here at Bright Sparks, our community stands at the heart of all that we do. From the little ones to our colleagues, we’re built on supporting the bonds that matter.
We are launching our new blog to celebrate life at Bright Sparks and to shine a spotlight on the exciting things we get up to!
To kick off this project, we’ve caught up with
Alice Haigh, our Head of Yearly Years, for an exclusive Q&A.

Bright Sparks is so special because it’s part of a bigger community that has the care and education of the “whole child” as its ethos.
The atmosphere and culture of Bright Sparks has at its very centre kindness for everyone, a motivated staff team, fun and laughter and we listen to each other; everyone has a voice.
My favourite nursery rhyme is ‘Hey diddle diddle, the cat & the fiddle’.
I love getting the words wrong and the children love correcting me!
I love music! I used to be a pub DJ in the 90s.
I love walking, especially around Dovestones Reservoir and the Highlands.
I love jigsaws, I am a big reader and I listen to a lot of podcasts. I have a subscription to Audible, which is really great.
And, a little claim to fame… Daniel Craig who plays James Bond, used to get on my school bus home with my friend from primary school. I remember it very well and my friend and Daniel were in a band! His eyes were so blue even when he was 12 or 13.
