Our School

The St. Mary’s mission is summed up in our motto ‘Fidem Vita Fateri’ ‘May our faith show forth in our lives’. This has implications within the school community and for our commitment to service outside of it.

In the words of the founder of the Christian Brothers, the Blessed Edmund Rice: ‘Education refers to the whole life, here and hereafter’.

We aim to encourage the development of the whole person, making Christ a reality in school life, by:

  • Fostering individual care and concern for all its members
  • The pursuit of excellence through a curriculum which combines breadth and balance with respect for individual talents
  • Offering opportunities of service and responsibility
  • Developing links between school, home, parish and community
  • Giving opportunities to experience God in prayer and worship

‘We show our faith by the way we live, love and learn’.
