At St. Mary’s College Preparatory School we understand that education is not confined to one particular strand. However, outstanding progress and academic results are key priorities and something that we consider ‘non-negotiable’. The children in every year group are continually monitored and formally assessed at three points during the year – End of Autumn, Spring and Summer terms.
We are proud to say that the vast majority of our Year 6 pupils consistently achieve at or above the expected level in the key areas of Numeracy, Reading and Writing.
Year 6 | Numeracy | Reading | Writing | |
2019 | Percentage working at or above nationally expected levels | 100% | 100% | 100% |
2020 | Percentage working at or above nationally expected levels | 100% | 100% | 100% |
2021 | Percentage working at or above nationally expected levels | 100% | 100% | 100% |
“We moved our son to St. Mary’s Prep to allow him to be challenged academically… We could not have contemplated his progress being so rounded and comprehensive.” – Parent
